I currently use two studios. One is based in Royal Oak and the other is in Detroit.

As a fine art storyteller photographer, I have the experience and expertise to capture the true essence of your family, capturing the candid and authentic moments that truly tell your family's story. The resulting images will be not only beautiful but will also have a deeper meaning and emotional connection.

I will work with you to understand your vision and create a personalized experience that is tailored to your family's needs. From the location, wardrobe and styling to the poses and expressions, the resulting images will be truly unique to your family.

I approach each photo shoot with a focus on telling your family's story through images. The resulting images will not only be beautiful, but they will also capture the essence of your family, its relationships, and its memories, you are not only creating a beautiful collection of images for yourself, but you are also creating a legacy for future generations. These images will be a lasting reminder of your family's history and will be treasured by your children, grandchildren, and beyond.

“Linda is a fantastic family photographer. She has a way of making even the most skeptical child feel at ease in front of the Camera. Will always use her as our primary photographer if she's available!”

During your session, I will guide you through the process and help you feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. I will work with you to choose the perfect location and wardrobe to match the style and vision for your session.

My fine art storyteller approach means that I not only focus on traditional posed shots, but also on candid, natural moments that capture the essence of your family. I strive to create a relaxed and enjoyable experience for everyone involved, resulting in beautiful, authentic images that truly tell the story of your family.

FAQ

How many images do you deliver?

This varies based on the package you choose and how the session goes. My galleries are usually a good size. I like to deliver plenty of variety in order to make sure there is something you love.

How long will it take to deliver the final images?

I aim to deliver your images within 2 to 4 weeks of the session date. Sometimes this may vary based on busy seasons or personal commitments. I will inform you if you can expect any delays.

Will you provide me full print rights to the images?

Yes, all images are delivered with full rights for printing for personal use.

How do I know which package is right for me?

The consultation meeting is designed for me to help guide you as to which package best fits your needs. I also send you a questionnaire after you have chosen your package. This will help me get to know you even better.

What is the difference between touchups and editing?

Touchups include adjusting light, cropping and fixing minor blemishes. Editing is the much more involved process of manipulating the image.

Can you help with wardrobe?

Of course! This is the best part. The colors, prints and textures you pick for your session will effect the overall feel of your images. This is part of my booking questionnaire and consultation. We talk about what will work best based on your overall goals.

I hate having my picture taken, I feel uncomfortable and awkward. How can you help?

I always tell my clients that have this concern that most people feel this way on picture day. You definitely are not alone in this regard! I really try my best to keep the session fun and relaxed to help you feel comfortable. It is important to trust my process and believe that I know you feel this way. I will set up playful scenarios that may feel awkward in the moment, but they are actually designed to break the ice and create natural reactions, such as a burst of laughter for me to capture, so you look as natural and relaxed as possible. Just trust me and have fun, this will be the best way to ensure gorgeous pictures.

Will you post on social media?

I typically post sneak-peeks on Instagram and Facebook shortly after the session. I will always take care to only share appropriate images. I won't share images I wouldn't share of myself or my own children.

What does the pre-session consultation entail?

This consultation can happen in person over lunch or coffee or even over zoom. I highly recommend this meeting because my method is massively effected by how much I've been able to get to know you. I pride myself in overdelivering, I want to make it worth your time and financial investment.

Can I print from a regular print shop?

Absolutely! I do warn my clients that not all print services are the same and the quality of your print can massively alter the overall look and feel of a picture. All images are delivered with full print rights for personal use. Just be aware that some print shops will automatically adjust the image, so results may vary, I can offer advice to avoid this. For best results, print through the print store found in the gallery or I can also share other ideas with you too.
